QMP delegation meets with the Administrator of the OASL

As part of ongoing stakeholder engagements geared toward forming strategic partnerships, a delegation of Queen mothers from the National Executives of the Queen Mothers Platform (QMP) had a meeting with the Administrator of OASL on the 25th October 2021 at the office of the Administrator.

The purpose was: To formally introduce the Queen Mothers Platform to the Administrator, to seek collaboration between the OASL and the QMP, and to be given the opportunity to be part of the institutional arrangement of the OASL as an authentic platform for consultation for the Queen mothers.

The Administrator lauded the Queen mothers for the initiative to be conscious of the need for inclusion in decision-making processes because we are the mothers in the communities, and so when we are involved in policy decisions, more women issues can be included in policy decisions.

The OASL expressed its enthusiasm at the prospect of collaborating with us on future engagements and we look forward to seeing the fruits of this partnership.
